Casa dos Ventos has just taken another strategic step to boost the energy transition in Brazil. We have formalized a long-term agreement with Sabesp for the supply of 126 average MW of renewable energy, consolidating one of the largest corporate solar energy contracts ever recorded in the country.
The operation was structured under the self-production by lease model via consortium. The energy that will supply the sanitation company will be generated at our Rio Brilhante solar complex, located in Campo Grande (MS). With 491 MW of installed capacity, the asset will be exclusively dedicated to serving Sabesp. Throughout the entire term of the partnership, we will supply more than 18 TWh of clean energy.
For us, the agreement has a dual strategic importance: it marks our entry into the sanitation sector with the self-production model and reinforces the diversification of our portfolio, through a 100% solar project custom-developed for the client's operation.
This agreement represents a milestone for Casa dos Ventos and for the advancement of the ESG agenda in Brazil. We are bringing energy transformation to a sector essential to the population, through a structured solution that combines competitiveness, predictability, and positive environmental impact on a large scale.

The energy challenge
The magnitude of the agreement reflects the size of Sabesp's operational challenge. Currently, the company is the eighth largest consumer of electricity in Brazil, operating in 376 municipalities in São Paulo.
To anticipate the universalization of basic sanitation services in São Paulo from 2033 to 2029, Sabesp has set a strong pace of expansion: today, there are approximately 1,100 construction fronts across the state, mobilizing around 40,000 professionals. All this infrastructure requires a solid, reliable, and sustainable energy base.
Predictability and decarbonization
The self-production contractual model developed by Casa dos Ventos solves two crucial needs for Sabesp. On the financial front, it guarantees long-term cost predictability and ensures the benefits associated with the exemption from sectoral charges provided by law.
On the environmental front, the project is the key piece of the decarbonization plan announced by Sabesp in November 2025. The company's goal is to reduce its emissions by 15% in the next decade, with a 43% cut focused specifically on Scope 2, which precisely involves energy consumption.
This partnership goes beyond meeting climate goals. It reinforces our commitment to energy resilience while promoting the adoption of clean and renewable sources, which within a few years should represent almost the entirety of Sabesp's energy consumption.
